Anistémi means hope to me, because at one time I had nothing and I did not know where I was going to end up.
Aunty Sylvia, the founder of Anistémi, was like a mother to me.
She was always available to the students to render help where they needed it.

Vision Statement

Training Towards A Redeemed Namibia
Based on the belief that a redeemed nation is built by redeemed people, our vision involves completing the process of turning once-broken lives into examples for the Church and communities in Namibia.

Mission Statement

The mission of Anistémi College and Training Centre is to be a vocational training centre and life skills service geared primarily towards youth who are capable but disadvantaged. The Centre will pursue modern training methodology so that learners will be fit for employment and targets of recruitment due to the reputation of our programme. We are a Christ-centred institution. Biblical morals and ethical principles guide our approach and set our goals for producing well-rounded graduates of our programmes.

Institute Directors

Darryl and Lessle Beukes

Darryl and Lessle Beukes have been married since 2006 and have two sons ages 9 and 14. Darryl has been in the woodworking industry for 19 years and has been an entrepreneur in woodworking service for the past 11 years. Darryl brought his expertise to the college 6 years ago and has trained students in our joinery and cabinet making course. Lessle worked as a personal assistant since 2004. She brought her experience to Anistémi and guides the office administration training team.

Education Directors

Edward and Francy Strauss

Edward and Francy have been married since 2013. They began ministry together in 2014. Edward is Certified as a Senior Professional in Supply Management and is passionate about community supported programs and sustainability. He spearheaded a self sustainability project at Anistémi College and Training Centre recently namely, Helfende Henne. Francy has a Teaching diploma. She enjoys using her skills to contribute to the exciting work at Anistémi College and Training Centre.
